I am grieving the loss of my mother. She passed away this morning after failing health from a series of broken hips over the past year. I will miss her greatly even though I have not been able to see her very often since I moved to Arizona in 1997.

I was able to get back to Michigan and see her the week before last. It was hard to see her so weak and unable to communicate very well, but I am so glad I made it back to see her before she passed on to a better place where she can be together with my dad again.
